![]() ![]() This year we decided to capture some of it on video. This is actually our 3rd year to participate, each year having some fun and exciting performance aspect. Check out the Excess at ĭuring Summer Namm 2018 in Nashville, TN, we sponsored a party at East Side Music Supply with Dwarfcraft Devices and Chase Bliss Audio. Thanks to Brine and Lunar Manor Studio for allowing us into their radical studio space. There is a switch (EXP SEL) on the top of the pedal next to the 9V DC Jack to change which knob is controlled by the Expression Input. By plugging in an expression pedal, you bypass the knob in order to change the parameter on the fly with your foot. EXP : Expression Input The Expression jack is used to externally control either the RATE / TIME or DEPTH / FBK controls. Switchable between RATE / TIME and DEPTH / FBK controls. EXP SEL : Selects which control is linked to the Expression Input when an Expression Pedal is plugged in. CHORUS / DELAY : Changes Modulation effect from Chorus (Blue LED) to Delay (Red LED). SERIES / PARALLEL Toggle : Switches the effect chain from Distortion into Modulation (SERIES) or Distortion and Modulation in running in parallel independent of each other. DEPTH / FBK : Controls the Depth of the Chorus effect or the Feedback of the Delay effect. RATE / TIME : Controls the Rate of the Chorus effect or the Time of the Delay effect. MOD VOL : Controls the overall level of the Modulation effect. DIST : Controls the gain of the Distortion effect. DIST TONE : Controls the tone of the Distortion effect, bassier, muddier tones to the left, sharper, cutting treble to the right. Controls DIST VOL : Controls the overall level of the Distortion effect. The chain of effects can be switched between Series (Distortion into Modulation) or Parallel, creating a unique combination of clean and dirty. It is a multitude of specific sounds, both old and new, all in one box. The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Excess is a combination of a high gain distortion pedal pushed into lush chorus or short repeats delay. Here it is, the part where we talk about what it is we've made. Audio Engineer : Connor Schmigle Camera Operators : Blake Studdard, Kilyn Massey, Seth McCarroll Rêver available at and Dealers worldwide February 15, 2019. Rêver Reverse Delay Reverb will be available for $229 direct from in a limited colorway or from participating dealers in the standard colorway on February 15th, 2019. Expression jack for external control of the Reverse mix. Order switching - put reverse first for ambient wash, or last for glitchy textures. A delay section with controls for volume, delay time and feedback - A reverse section with controls for latching or momentary operation and blend between reverse and dry signal. Rêver features: - A reverb section with controls for mix, modulation and reverb length. With seven knobs, two toggles, and two footswitches, familiar effects combine to create a number of inspiring new textures. Enter the Rêver, a Reverse Delay Reverb pedal co-conceived by Old Blood Noise and our friends at Datachoir. And that's where we've been lately, in a loop of monotony. Sometimes dreams are deja vu, the same thing over and over again in a slightly different way, but familiar. And most of the time, they don't make sense. The dreams we have when we're sleeping and the aspirations we have when we are awake. Whitecap features: - An analog tremolo with rate, depth, and volume controls - A digital tremolo with rate, depth, and volume controls as well as tap tempo and five selectable waveforms - A series/parallel toggle to run analog into digital or both side by side - Huge volume boost available in each side - Expression jack for external tap control - Ramp mode to shift the speed up or down by holding the tap footswitch - Relay bypass switching and standard 9VDC center negative power Video By Old Blood Noise Endeavors & Atria Creative ĭreams are cool. Quick chops, slow ramps, asynchronous modulations, smooth sines, phase flipped undulations, textural rhythmic drifts - it’s all there in the Whitecap. Combining a three-control analog tremolo and a multi-shape digital tap tremolo, the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Whitecap tremolo lets the user find new tremolo textures by combining the two sounds in series or parallel. Whitecap is available for $199 at and at dealers worldwide. It's been a long time coming but the curse of the Whitecap has lifted.
